My art is inspired by my inner and outer world, and all those that came before me. I only wish to touch the heart of all I connect with, this is why I became a performance artist.
Many people may forget that early performances were often short videos of people in their own created spaces, often adaptable, not so much the artist formatting for a held over studio/gallery inclosure box .
Art communicates what is inside of you, your mind, your heart, your soul. Sometimes when you have all those voices in your head, that’s when the beautiful mess starts.
The Sun symbolizes our identity, individual destiny, and the power of creative expression, which are the qualities attributed to the sign of Leo: self-expression, and self-knowledge. Psychologically and symbolically, it’s the time of realigning our destinies with the Sun on the quest of self-realization.
Performance art can be about dealing with trauma, but it can also be a narrative of a love story, of a random happy moment in the kitchen, it can be about literally anything in life and life is not just sour lemons.
Performance art is a laboratory to explore the “what ifs” and the catalysts for individual and social change.
The performance artist is the mediator, serving as a catalyst for the universal healing of collective personal traumas.
