Curated for INPA International Network of Performance ArtSTRIDING BODIES: Procession as Performance Art is a survey program that focuses on performance art as a processional (march or parade) experience. The program explores procession as a social, political, economic and aesthetic approach to public performance and artistic collaborations produced by artists from the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.STRIDING BODIES: Procession as Performance Art is the continuation of Hector Canonge‘s research on the various aspects and modalities of the discipline of Performance Art. The 2 day program counts with the participation of artists selected from an international open call who will present and discuss their experience in the execution of their processional performative explorations.
