Sidereal: Moon at 11°11′ Leo (Magha Nakshatra), Sun at 11°11′  Aquarius (Shatabisha Nakshatra) aligned with Fomalhaut at 9° Aquarius & Deneb 10° Aquarius
Tropical: Moon at 5°23′ Virgo, Sun at 5°23′ Pisces

Stars: Royal Star Fomalhaut at 9° Aquarius Sidereal; 3° Pisces, Tropical

This Lunar Cycle began on February 9th, and culminates on February 24th with the Moon at 11°11′ Sidereal Leo (Magha Nakshatra), opposing the Sun at at 11°11′  Aquarius (Shatabisha Nakshatra), and at 5°23′ Virgo, Tropical opposing the Sun at at 5°23′ Pisces, Tropical. With prominent star alignments including Royal Star Fomalhaut at 9° Aquarius Sidereal or 3° Pisces, Tropical and the Head of the Galactic Cross star Deneb 10° Aquarius, Sidereal or 4° Pisces, Tropical.

Vedic, Sidereal: Moon in Leo, in Magha Nakshatra, Sun in Aquarius, in Shatabisha Nakshatra.

I always say (or keep on repeating myself) that being born in the times of technological advancement allows every one of us to be like the Sumerian or Babylonian Priestess (or relive those past lives), Priestess, High Priestess, the “I” able to follow the planetary cycles with the ease of her phone pointed out to the Universe. In this easy action of astronomical measurement it becomes obvious that during this Full Moon, the Moon is in the constellation of Leo, and the Sun in Aquarius aligned with the Royal star FOMALHAUT South of the Ecliptic, and DENEB, tail of the Swan & the Head of the Galactic Cross, North.

This Full Moon takes place at 11 Leo, in the Nakshatra Magha with the 7th house aspect to the Sun, Saturn and Mercury, all three in Aquarius, in Satabhisha.

Magha Nakshatra

Moon in Leo, in the 10th Nakshatra MAGHA known as the Star Of Power, invites us to step into our personal power traditionally identified with the Royal Star Regulus at 5° Leo . This position brings achievement of goals, and it is known for its generosity and wisdom.

Magha has a strong association with our ancestors. We realize that our position in life, our profession, our ideas, and what we possess, may have come to us down a long lineage. But we may also become interested in past life regression to have a look at the experiences of our soul independent of purely physical ancestry… It also brings interest in ancient wisdom, hence it is an auspicious time to explore the Vedic gnosis.

Shatabhisha Nakshatra

Shatabhisha is known for its Power of Healing, and it is represented by a closed circle, a symbol of “a hundred physicians”. Associated with Rahu, the North Node and ruled by Saturn, this combination brings tenaciousness to investigate all Rahu issues: eccentricity, desire, obsession and unpredictability. Satabhisha is often described as mystical, introverted, and visionary, it’s also where the deep cosmic understanding of all things can be experienced as it gives us the inclination to meditate on emptiness (within the enclosed magical circle) with the sudden revelations and insights.

The Deity that rules Satabhisha is omnipresent Varuna, the God of the Oceans also associated with the clouds and the sky. It is said that Varuna has a thousand eyes that see all we do and think. Which brings us back to the spherical consciousness this Full Moon awakens, feeling it all, at once, like the Water deities, Neptune, Varuna, Mokosh. It is also the ability to transgress the time, grounded in present with simultaneous access to the ancient past and future, altering the DNA.

Western, Tropical Zodiac: Moon in Virgo, Sun in Pisces conjunct Mercury &Saturn.

With the conjunction in Pisces of the Sun, Saturn and Mercury aspecting the lonely Moon in Virgo, the only hope is to embrace the energy of Jupiter in sextile to Piscean stellium and trine to the Moon. Embodying emotions through physical / psychic movement or action, can release our thinking (release the thinking “I”) and liberate us from the grip. Shifting through the planes of experience, in Pisces fashion, whether through art or the dream world of dreaming dragons, is the Mercurial task. Try to observe and understand the antagonistic energies of the Full Moon rather than fully engage with them (also represented by people and circumstances). Pluto, Mars and Venus in Aquarius will play their role, approach this as a process of transformation or be destroyed – possibly with the same results but with various levels of painful experiences.

North Node conjunct Chiron echos the same themes: healing of spiritual wounding (in tandem with Jupiter), recognizing and understanding of past patters (Saturn+ Mercury + Moon) and consciously transforming them (Sun).

Star aligned with the Full Moon: Fomalhaut

Fomalhaut of Piscis Australis (the southern fish) lies within the constellation of Aquarius, south of the ecliptic, in the area known as the Celestial Sea. As Aquarius, the Water Bearer nourishing the body of humanity, representing the essence of the human society, Fomalhaut is the voice of humanity.

Aquarius, the Water Bearer appears above Piscis Australis – The Southern Fish, in the Celestial Atlas by Alexander Jamieson, published in 1822. In the illustration, water from the Water Jar of Aquarius is going into the Mouth of the Southern Fish.

Constellation of Aquarius with the stars pouring out from the Water Jar into the open mouth of Piscis Austrinus.

Prominent placement of Fomalhaut is a call to speak for humanity’s fundamental needs inspired by the Aquarian vision (water) of people’s freedom and equality. It brings intuitive understanding of how to achieve the evolution of the human society that serves all, and a compulsion to act on it as humanity’s spokeswoman.

Larger view – Star Astrology / Galactic Astrology & Fomalhaut

All four stars located in the fixed signs represent the occult power within the Zodiac: Regulus represents the power to create, Aldebaran the power to manifest on the earthly plane, Antares the power to transform, and Fomalhaut, the power to connect and build community. As the energies of Fomalhaut which is the star in the constellation of Piscis Austrinus represent the voice of humanity, this is the time to meditate and act upon the vision of the world we want to manifest. Whether through the Future Life Progression hypnotic trance or exercises to encode our future DNA with energies of love and unity.

Stars aligned with the Full Moon: Deneb

The star Deneb, the tail of the Swan marks the head of the Northern Galactic Cross. This white supergiant is one of the most luminous stars known, about 54 000 times of our Sun.

Deneb embodies unity consciousness representing our soul’s essence before fragmentation into gender, race, nation or religion. Androgynous in its representation, just like Fomalhaut, it stands for the unified humanity, beyond national and religious segregation.

Wishing you a peaceful Full Moon!
