The Sun-Neptune-Venus stellium in Pisces is the most spiritual loving energy possible. Higher love. Yes rose-colored glasses but we have learned to stop doing that and ask the right questions right? Venus squares the Nodes meaning it’s the beauty way or the hard way. With all the Aqua, and the Moon activating Saturn-Mercury-Jupiter, all far reaching energy, it will be impossible for the future not to arrive. It’s the last week of the long Mercury stay in Aqua (and end of the Rx shadow). This is a waning Moon with a Pisces New Moon on deck so bath in these cosmic vibes. The world news is rightfully focused on racial justice so prayer and high vibes (healing) go a long way right now. When the Aries energy comes, which is soon, things will kick into action mode. Pisces is Christ Consciousness which means stepping up to our highest selves. Mars in Gemini is headed for the North Node, sparking brutal truth, and accepting our personal truth (the good and unpleasant) is how we achieve our highest states. This energy is topsy-turvy for many, with feelings and sensitivities turned up very high, so why not allow the pain to shake out? Things out of alignment are not tolerated. With the Venus at 19 degrees, Neptune at 20 degrees and the Sun and the Moon at 23 degrees of Pisces, this New Moon represents a dreamy state of possibilities awakening our Inner Visionary, The Dreamer, and the Mystic to mention the potent and positive expression of these energies which is what we hope to bring forward. Pisces is also The Artist, The Musician who can hear the music of the spheres, the Filmmaker, as well as the Psychic, the Trance Medium, the Spiritual Guide, and the Illusionist. As Neptune and Venus integrate with Sun and the Moon we are attempting to integrate the paradox of ego state and the selfless non-ego expression.
With the Sun-Neptune connection, the Sun maintains its status quo while Neptune is dissolving all that is, the sense of reality, and boundaries. It really depends how familiar you are with these energies as it can bring both heightened psychic and artistic abilities but also confusion which comes with the total ego dissolution. If in Neptunian doubt, meditate on the Virgin, and within the ocean of her potentiality, her medicine woman healing abilities, you are more likely to find your way into the light where you can swim with the dolphins!
Now let’s revise the Pisces sigil of two fish swimming in opposite direction, within the consciousness of the enlightened Virgin, her light, her knowing, her becoming. In ancient Greek astrology, the Pisces were actually represented by two dolphins, not two fish. That only changed in 4 BC, most likely as the dolphins disappeared from the Mediterranean Sea which became a battle field for various nations, thus no longer providing a safe oasis for these peace loving, animals always regarded as friends to our human race. In Greek mythology there are stories praising dolphins for their friendliness and intelligence. They were messengers of the Greek god of the sea Poseidon (dolphins not the fish!), dolphins were also sacred to both Aphrodite (Venus) and Apollo (Venus as animus!). The Virgin that used to ride the dolphins in ancient Greece, was Salacia, the goddess of salt waters which was a symbolic integration of the Virgo / Pisces axis, with the Goddess, not the God associated with these sacred animals.
During this New Moon, Ceres, the Mother Goddess archetype is at 7 degrees of Aries in exact conjunction to Chiron. This placement of Ceres indicates an instinctual understanding of the needs of others, and willingness in assisting others to provide them with what they need. The fiery quality of Ceres conjunct Chiron, together with the renewable potentiality of this New Moon may lead to instantaneous quantum healing of the Chironic wounding within the warrior archetype as represented by Aries. As if the quantum Universe was reminding us that our suffering is simply one of the karmic life lessons, and once it has been assimilated the veil of pain can be lifted and the new fuller identity shall emerge.

Pisces is the whole ocean. It is balmy and inviting turquoise shallows, filled with whimsical looking tropical fish. It’s the blind and invisible monsters lurking in the pitch black of the deepest seas. It is tsunamis and squalls and sun showers upon white sand. It’s marshy estuaries and gentle salt water lagoons. It’s the massive, desolate glaciers on the surface of the world, and the boiling waters that surround volcanic vents two miles below.
The Ocean can kill you, easily, but it can also cleanse you, feed you, and make you feel new. The Ocean is earth’s womb, her amniotic fluid where all life was born. In Ayurvedic tradition, when one submerges oneself in the Ocean, for a brief moment, all of the doshas of the body are brought back into perfect balance.
Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac, carries all the lessons of the previous astrological calendar. This one came on suddenly, like a storm at sea, causing many of us to feel unmoored. As the Pisces new moon approaches, we are coming up on a year of quarantine in the United States. Since the Sun was last in Pisces, we have all confronted our traumas, our weaknesses, our shame.
