Artists Claire Zakiewicz and Gerald Curtis created Writing the Future in 2021.
Conceived as a performance painting, Writing the Future was commissioned by Creative People and Places Hounslow for ‘Future Visions’, an exhibition of works that signal a positive future for Hounslow High Street and its communities.
Writing the Future is a 45-minute performance that explores open interpretation, cooperation and collaborative practice methods. Dirtagnan created the soundtrack for the performance.
The performance was filmed by Cristina Schek, which will be screened in Watermans Studio 1, followed by a short talk and Q&A with the artists.
The evening will finish with drinks and viewing of the Future Visions exhibition in the Riverside Gallery.
