With the New Moon on September 14th at 21°58′ of Virgo we are embracing the earthly realm through the lens of Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. Yes, it’s the New Moon of the Earthy Grand Trine calling us to manifest through the physical forms, and providing the healing grounding energies that we may all crave after the summer of Venus Retrograde and the current Mercury Rx which ends the following day on September 15th. The cosmic energies are on our side and so harness the magic!

Sun trine Uranus brings spiritual insights, creativity, and the ability to tap the Universal Mind, so this is certainly an opportunity to tune into the cosmic stream of consciousness as the circumstances may bring interesting people and opportunities into our lives. Moon trine Uranus often gives us electric appeal, and magnetism while dealing with others, it also presents original and innovative solutions to the problems we may have been stuck on for a while.

The mighty Earth Trine between the Moon, the Sun in Virgo and Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn prompts us to understand the world around us from a new perspective. The energies of the earthy signs: Taurus and Virgo represent the relationship to our body, and the environment while Capricorn helps us structure physical reality making the most from the resources at our disposal. Taurus symbolically relates to Mother Earth, while Virgo as a sign of healing and service, shows us the practical ways of honoring and protecting the natural world.

With Pluto as a powerful agent of this trine, we may well access previously untapped potential. This transformative energy help us understand that each of us has tremendous power and influence over the world – as long as we choose to make positive changes and do not give our power away. Virgo’s homeostasis is to be grounded with feet tickled by the moss, with still green tree leaves merging with her aura, cleansing, reinforcing and uplifting.

HER STORY aka the VIRGO ARCHETYPE

Virgo in the ancient times was also the symbol of LOVE as life giving and sustaining forces.

The archetype of Virgo, brings us back to the origins of our civilization and the first accounts of astrology as the cosmic religion. In the ancient Sumer, when astrology followed the movement of celestial objects, like Joytish / Hindu astrology still does, the most important, live-giving deity was known as Inanna, with her symbolism as the Goddess of Love, the most powerful force in the Universe.

Greek mythology also explains the origins of the Virgo constellation, referring to the Golden Age of humanity after which all the Gods abandoned the Earth, with an exception of Astraea whose name translates as star-maiden. She was a daughter of Astraeus, the Titan-god of the dusk, and Eos, a Titaness and the goddess of the dawn. Astraea remained with humanity until the end of the Silver Age, then as the Bronze Age began she fled to the stars appalled by human rage and greed. She became the constellation Virgo, holding the scales of Justice, which represents the constellation of Libra. The legend says that Astraea will one day come back to Earth, bringing with her the return of the utopian Golden Age…

The Moon resides in Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra which is the 12th Lunar Mansion, called “The Star of Patronage” bringing compassion and kindness to the whole of humanity.
