Full moons symbolize a peak of energies, and occur when the Sun (the ego) opposes the Moon (the soul). This Full Moon in Aquarius takes place on July 23rd at 10:37 PM EST. The Sun is at 1 degree and 26 minutes of Leo, and the Moon at 1 degree and 26 minutes of Aquarius.
The ruler of this Full Moon, Uranus is the Paradigm-Shifter, The Rebel, the Force For Change, the Inventor, the Idealist, and also the Genius!
If you follow his call he will bring to your life excitement, novelty and out of the box ideas. However, if you resist his original ways and try to hold onto the status quo he will send shock waves, in form of upsetting circumstances or people so you can get out of your own shell.
Uranus situated at 14 degrees of Taurus, it continues its square to Saturn in Aquarius.
From Wednesday July 21st Moon resides in Capricorn, making its way towards the opposition with Mercury (around 4am on Friday Jul 23rd) and conjunction with Pluto (around noon on Friday July 23rd) to finally move to Aquarius at 8pm and oppose the Sun at 10:37pm.
Moon opposing Mercury brings confusion and irritability, unconscious blockages can affect our ability to think clearly, we may be distracted by the inner chatter, or lost in a small talk conversations without communicating what’s truly important to us. It’s possible to become overly sensitive to criticism. In general this opposition creates all sorts of imbalances relating to our home, family and emotional life. We can ceaselessly worry about our loved ones, or we can experience it as overspending. For some it can express itself through obsessive tidiness, while others will step into a state of disorder so keep an eye on any compulsive behavior.
Pluto is also opposing Mercury bringing revelations of uncomfortable truths which we didn’t want to acknowledge. Once the Moon conjuncts Pluto anything that concerns our feelings is amplified. The intensity of feelings on one hand and the tendency to assert one’s strong will can be quite explosive.
Moon conjunction Pluto intensifies psychic experiences so open yourself up to premonitions, lucid dreaming, subtle changes in your auric field, whichever psychic modality you are familiar with.
This is also a good time to let the past die, and move towards a new emotional base in terms of building your own security. Getting rid of what no longer serves us and our emotional wellbeing means that we know our shadow therefore we also know our power without projecting those energies onto other people.
The Great Conjunction degree activation
The Moon, half way between Pluto and Saturn resides at the degree of the Great Conjunction of Jupiter, the Cosmic Benefit, and Saturn, the Foundation Builder that took place on 21st December 2020. While we experience the intensity of Pluto on one hand and Saturn on another, this is also the time of revisions looking back at what we started during last December and January. Are things developing according to the plan? Perhaps there is some room for improvement and adjustment based on all the new information we gathered in the last months.
With the Moon / Saturn conjunction we tend to identify emotions with material things, it can also be draining and depressing so make conscious effort to keep things light, and turn off the inner critic. As this aspect highlights the practical side of our lives, it often helps us to accomplish a great deal of work. The most positive expression to be expected is an approach of practical realism and common sense, the negative on the other hand is letting yourself indulge in negativity seeing only the dark side of life.
With all the recent Pluto activity comes new understanding of our energy. We have been deeply transformed through the inquiry into the deepest and darkest layers of our souls. And now we can build new foundation for our emotional safety.

When does the Era of Aquarius begin?
To answer this question all astrologers, whether Western or Hindu use the same indicator using the Sidereal (Vedic) system, and the indicator called Sidereal Vernal Point which tells us which era our civilization is situated in. Sidereal Vernal Point moves slowly, for the last 2000 year has been within the constellation of Pisces moving towards Aquarius and as of July 2021 it is at 4 degrees of Pisces. By 2050 it will reach 4 degrees 32 minutes 44 seconds of Pisces, and it will move to the sign of Aquarius circa 2300 – where we all shall meet in our future karmic forms… Mind your KARMIC lessons (!)
