Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, named for the God of the Underworld, and Mars, named for the God of War. Still waters run deep, and in the case of Scorpio, so do turbulent ones.

A sign known for its secrecy, its passion, its deeply emotional nature, Scorpio Sun gives us musicians such as Björk, SZA, Drake, and composer Ennio Morricone, who created the sound of the Spaghetti Western.

Scorpio’s cold Plutonic chaos disrupts and lends new perspectives. Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso both brought forth new ways of seeing the world through their art. Scorpio’s Mars runs hot though, and Scorpio sexuality is on full display in the photography of Robert Mapplethorpe and the paintings of Georgia O’Keefe.

This week’s Scorpio Full Moon has stirred up dark secrets from the undertow, and we’re all swimming in murkier waters. But remember, it’s through this shakeup that new realities become possible. Without the mud, there is no lotus.

When it all feels overwhelming, remember the reassuring voice of Bob Ross, who loved painting nature and calmed his soul through sharing his joy with others. In true Scorpio fashion, it was Ross’s use of the wet-on-wet technique that made his 30-minute long program possible!

Let this playlist be your guide as you navigate the dark Plutonian depths this week, and don’t forget to come up for air. For extra credit points, take this Scorpio playlist on a Hot Girl Walk and experience the poetry of the landscape. For extra extra credit points, do that, and then continue to soak in the Scorpio Vibes by listening to this Scorpio playlist in the bath, and then while you anoint yourself with oils.

Whatever you decide, don’t be afraid to go deep with it!
