This new lunar cycle begins on July 9th, at 9:16 PM EST, and July 10th at 3:16 AM CEDT. The Sun and the Moon at 18°01′ of Cancer oppose Pluto at 25°44 of Capricorn, not a precise opposition nevertheless the Moon will create the exact degree of opposition at noon EST on July 10th.
As a life certified expert in Pluto aspects, here is my cosmic download for the upcoming New Moon, opposing Pluto currently at 25 degrees of Capricorn. Note this New Moon is not the best time for intention setting (!) The most significant aspect of this New Moon is the t-square, Pluto in Capricorn opposing the New Moon in Cancer, and squared by Eris in Aries, the Goddess of Discord acting as an apex to the t-square, stressing Pluto, the Sun and the Moon. Power isn’t always won on the battlefield. Power of telling your own story, power to move the hearts and minds, power to endure the hardships so one can emerge from the ashes in its crystalline form, power to overcome the most dreadful difficulties and life challenges, power of patient reckoning with the existing power structures, power of emancipating yourself from the consensual reality, power to voice out one’s truth. Pluto in its high expression can act as a balancer between the mind and emotions expressing itself through the power of storytelling as a service to others, and the power of broadcasting the Occult Feminine Gnosis.
Eris, is the Dark Goddess archetype, symbiotic with The Dark Moon Lilith, while Lilith checked out on her own, Eris has been intentionally left out. They probably hang out backstage as The Flame of Fury and The Succubus. Eris at 24 degrees of Aries, squares both the New Moon and Pluto. This may be expressed as the subconscious tendency to identify with negative or limiting conditions which can be eliminated only through positive and uplifting emotions. This isn’t going to be easy as it requires conscious reprogramming. Try hypnosis, or self-hypnosis, crystal healing reinforcing your superphysical etheric body with focus on your root, sacral and plexus chakras, or laughter therapy with a heart expanding loving friend with a dominant fire element. Negativity brigs on disharmony, the biggest disruptor to the Cancerian nature.Aim to build a positive outlook for yourself and others as this will bring you fulfillment and peace of mind.
Neptune at the 23 degrees of Pisces trines the New Moon in Cancer while also creating a sextile to the menacing Pluto. Trine to Neptune brings on the mystical aura, it also helps us ascend to the higher octave of love. Neptune in Pisces is the archetype of the Cosmic all compassionate, forgiving and all knowing type of love. This energy provides solace to the harsh and difficult opposition with Pluto. If you feel being taken advantage of, cheated on or used by someone, the Piscean energy can carry you through this painful experience within what is called Christ consciousness, which teaches us that through self sacrifice, we ultimately become the eternal light merged with the divine. Forgive those who did you wrong, and forgive yourself for allowing it, Neptune is a great dissolver therefore it also dissolves the suffering. Humility is the last virtue to be attained – in order to become something we have to be willing to be nothing.
My piece of advice is to build healthy boundaries, do not let anyone into your life who seems to vibe with darkness, tune your intuition up, and be wary of the most subtle warning signs. Pluto will teach you its lessons over and over until you finally get it right. So aim to transform what’s needed in your life here and now, instead of keeping up with meaningless appearances, fake friendships, unfulfilling jobs and relationships. If it still hurts, whisper your pain to the earth then move on, and up, up, up! Forgive and forget!
During the New Moon we ought to only analyze the actual aspects to the Sun and the Moon, but there are other planetary energies during this time that affect us, especially if they touch on any personal points and planets in your chart.
- Jupiter in Piceas creates harmonious trine to Mercury in late Gemini, both planets in their own signs facilitate development of abstract concepts with high moral and ethical focus. On a personal level, this makes you feel tolerant, interested in broad spectrum of ideas, and perhaps impatient to travel.
- Grand Fire Trine: Venus in Leo conjunct Mars trine South Node in Sagittarius conjunct Juno trine Chiron in Aries. Realizing the past karma of gender conditioning, with feminine and masculine principle exchanging its gifts and supporting each others missions.
- Saturn at 12° of Aquarius trines North Node in Gemini at 10°. This is the Alchemical Summer of becoming, focus on what needs to be done, and finished, then steadily create on the firm foundations.
