Ieva Naglina (1981) is artist and curator, works and lives in Riga, Latvia. Graduated Art Academy of Latvia graphic department (2007).

In creative work artist uses graphic, painting and mixed media. In audio-visual performance project “AINA” collaborate with different DJ’s and musicians. As curator works with contemporary graphic and ceramic art. Works as curator in Riga Porcelain museum. From 2016 are program curator of international festival “Printmaking IN” in Riga, Latvia. Roles the broadcast about art “Subjektīvie mērījumi” (Subjective measurements) in radio “NABA” (Latvia).

September 18th, Workshop: “Performative Body – a practice based on the physicality and senses”’ led by Goda Žukauskaitė.


During the workshop we are going to practise tools useful to awaken our performative bodies based on
our own personalities. We will be searching for limits, breaking the boundaries in order to achieve a
highly awakened state of physical / emotional body and find different perspectives about surrounding.
The main focus points: your own physical body, senses, use of space and time, relation with different
materials and other bodies in space.
Duration: 3 hours
Open to any kind of gender and age. No experience needed.


About Goda:
Goda Žukauskaitė (LT/NL) is a Lithuanian dance and performance artist based in Amsterdam, The
Netherlands. She graduated from Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2018. As a dancer/performer, she
is currently involved with a few companies: “Kalpanarts” (NL), “Schweigman&” (NL) and working with
various independent artists and organisations around The Netherlands and Lithuania. She is creating her
work under the research called Performative Reality, which also includes a series of workshops.

The aim of the festival is to introduce Baltic Art in the center of the art world, Big Apple, Manhattan New York, to promote cultural diplomacy between Baltic and foreign professionals and audiences, and to internationalize Baltic culture. Introducing top level artists of Baltic visual art, film and poetry and performing arts in New York to international audiences and establishing new contacts all over the world.

The Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA) is the largest institution of contemporary art in Latvia that curates and produces contemporary art events of national and international scale. As of 1993, it has researched and curated contemporary art processes both in Latvia and abroad to provoke critical reflection on issues topical for contemporary society. We are widely recognized for our annual international contemporary art festival SURVIVAL KIT, regular exhibitions at the Latvian National Museum of Art, as well as Latvia’s representation at the Venice Biennale, Manifesta, São Paulo Art Biennial, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Rauma Biennale of Contemporary Art, etc. 

Grafikas Kamera (The Chamber of Graphic Art) was founded in 1994 and is based on technical resources and traditions of printmaking media, partly taking over also the functions of the Graphic Department of the Artists’ Union of Latvia. TCGA has an international reputation of organizing exhibitions and international festivals. The Chamber of Graphic Art has succeeded not only in strengthening the unique creative and experimental nature of printmaking media but also finding new forms of activities above different art medias. 

Public enterprise Gallery „Meno Parkas“ LITHUANIA 

Meno Parkas was established in 1997 by Kaunas department of Lithuanian Artists’ Association. Meno Parkas Gallery is organizing projects and exhibitions of professional contemporary Lithuanian artists in Lithuania and in foreign countries, participating in international contemporary art projects and exhibitions. Collaborating with Lithuania’s and foreign countries’ galleries, institutions of contemporary art, art academies, creative associations and organizations. Organizing conferences, meetings and discussions on contemporary art topics. Meno Parkas Gallery works also as a centre of information (database about Lithuania’s and foreign countries’ artists creation, information about contemporary art projects in Lithuania and abroad, spread of information, publications). Meno Parkas Gallery priorities are realization of Lithuanian Artists’ Association’s creative program, stimulation of young artists creations, involving them into projects of contemporary art.

Opened in 2006, Grace Exhibition Space is devoted exclusively to Performance and Visual Art. They offer an opportunity to experience visceral and challenging works by the current generation of international performance artists whether emerging, mid-career or established. Our events are presented on the floor, not on a stage, dissolving the boundary between artist and viewer. This is how performance art is meant to be experienced and our mission is the glorification of performance art.

Grace Exhibition Space presents over 30 curated live performance art exhibitions each year, showcasing new work by more than 400 performance artists from across the United States and the world since 2006.
