This Full Moon takes place on August 22nd and as it is the second Aquarius Full Moon this summer let’s dive deep through The Aquarian Portal 2.0! The planetary energies form incredibly powerful and uplifting opportunities for us to act on, and experience much needed changes. If you felt recently blocked, this is the time to adjust your energies, embrace new possibilities, and simply see your life in a different context, through the Uranian perspective.
The ruler of this Full Moon, Uranus, brings the capacity to change dimensions. It solves the problem from outside the problem, rendering it irrelevant. Moving to a new level requires complete disruption and reorganization of all the information from the old level; revolutionary energies may bring on chaos so as to reorganize the system into a new entity. With Uranus in Taurus forming a trine to Mars and Mercury in Virgo, attune yourself to what comes up during the Full Moon.
The Teachings of the Anaretic Degree on the Leo / Aquarian axis
The Full Moon falls on the Anaretic degree, with the Sun at 29 degrees of Leo, and the Moon on 29 degrees of Aquarius. Anaretic Degree is the last, 29th degree of each sign. There is some misunderstanding about this placement. You can hear people say that if they are on the last degree they are a little like the following sign. However, the truth is that the first and last degrees carry the most pronounced qualities of that sign. They can be seen as the gates to each particular essence.
With the Sun at the last degree of Leo, we focus on what makes us creative, we cultivate the power of self-expression as the barometer of happiness and fulfillment. What brings you joy? When do you feel the most authentic, and in the flow with the Universe? What can you shift in your life to embrace the power of your creativity?
